CVC Public Relations
The cluster bundles public relations for and with the partners of the CVC and offers, apart from general information about the commercial vehicle industry, the opportunity for raising awareness and understanding for the possibilities and problems in the region. This happens on various levels and is, through a network of companies, associations and scientific and other institutions, more efficient than the individual efforts of each institution.
Apart from dedicated work in public relations, the Commercial Vehicle Cluster acts also as main point of contact for questions about the commercial vehicle industry in the region. This enables a concerted appearance to the outside by all involved and improves the images of the industry as well as representing the interests to the public. A positive image represents high value especially in difficult times and strengthens the awareness and acceptance of the public.
Attendance of trade fairs and industry events
The Commercial Vehicle Cluster attends important industry trade fairs and represents partner companies, which are unable or do not wish to attend those trade fairs themselves. The CVC also organises its own industry events within trade fairs and provides a contact point for its partners.
Furthermore, the cluster is frequently present at industry events and represents the interests of the industry related institutions of the region and in doing so, gaining new, inter-regional contacts and opportunities for co-operation, thus being beneficiary for all involved.
Information material and Newsletter
The CVC publishes every year, at regular intervals, several newsletters in print. The newsletters deal with present cluster topics and the commercial vehicle industry in general, provide information about the current work of the cluster and introduce individual partner companies. CVC partners receive these newsletters free of charge.
The Commercial Vehicle Cluster publishes also brochures with information and flyers for partners as well as the interested public besides the Newsletter. These print media provide information, improve the image of the industry to outsiders and raise a wider interest and general awareness of the important role of the commercial vehicle industry.
The CVC internet portal
The CVC internet portal provides information about the CVC to visitors but it is also a platform for partner companies and institutions where they receive information about the activities of the cluster and actively participate in the work of the cluster and communicate with each other through the portal.
The CVC-Portal provides a public section with general information about the industry and the cluster but also has a protected partner section with forums about the individual project groups and protected downloads of events and presentations.
Partner companies also are given the opportunity to present themselves within the cluster and to convey products and expertise of the company or institution.
Therefore the CVC-Portal serves as external presentation of the cluster and its partners as well as a communication platform for all involved and in doing so, creating a more efficient and agreeable co-operation. Furthermore, a faster flow of information within the cluster has been facilitated and co-operation on a wider base has been established.
