Research and development

Die Universität Kaiserslautern

Further advantages for the cluster partners are generated through co-operation with universities. Apart from dealing with relevant topics in the project groups, these and other topics can be worked on further and in-depth in the environment of the universities.

  • Participation in research and development projects
  • Transfer of research questions
  • Placement of degree dissertations
  • Doctoral candidates for company-specific issues
  • Access to science and development experts
  • Project groups for specific topics

Cluster partners have the final say:

In the cluster, we can discuss new ideas openly yet still between ourselves. How do others solve the same problem? I find the project work in the cluster especially exciting. Focusing on new recruits, we find the co-operation with renowned universities interesting. ‘Going it alone’ is difficult in our industry. The demands are high. We are a member of the cluster because we need allies. Our company is too small to attend the important trade fairs of the industry but effectively we are always there because of the cluster.
